Czech Republic will invest 150 million EUR in environmental research and innovation
Hi everyone!
I was very pleased to find out that my homeland, the Czech Republic, is ready to address the environmental problems that we have been struggling with in the recent years.

The Czech government has just decided to invest almost 4 billion CZK (approximately 150 million EUR) in research and innovations that should improve the environment we live in. The money will be used, for example, to fight drought and other consequences of the climate change, to increase the landscape´s ability to retain rain water etc.

According to the Czech Ministry of the Environment, a part of the money will also be used to fund new educational programs and campaigns aimed at raising awareness of the environmental problems that our country (as well as and many other countries in Europe) have been dealing with.

This is great news for a country with a wealth of beautiful environment!
It's good that the government of Czech Republic has the foresight to do this. It is a thing that is often overlooked as it is not of immediate benefit to any political party, so they are often happy to sell out the future for immediate gain...
Really glad to hear that! We take the environment for granted some times, i hope we never come to the point of no return and stuck with situation that makes life a struggle. It would be great if Trump realized that climate change is serious and current problem.
