Warrant against Khaleda Zia and Gayeswar in defamation case

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and party's Standing Committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy. The warrant has been issued against the number of martyrs in the war of liberation and the controversial remarks made against martyred intellectuals.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Abu Sayeed passed the order on Wednesday. At the same time, the court ordered the warrant issued by the warrant of Tamilnadu on August 7.

On Jan 5, 2016, Janata Party Council President AB Siddique filed the complaint in Dhaka court.

In the case of the complaint, it was said that on 21 December 2015, Khaleda Zia in the Engineers Institute of the capital and on December 25 of the same year, at a function in the National Press Club, she was grieved (the plaintiff) in the speech of Gayeshwar Chandra Roy with martyred intellectuals. The plaintiff said, as a patriot, he made defamation case.
