I’m sure by now you have all seen an article or comment that goes something like this “Poor Sweden it used to be such a beautiful country but now its turning into a crime-ridden Islāmic Shit-hole.”
I intend to contest this fact in the most objective fashion you are likely to come across on the web today.

Let’s Start with an undeniable fact; That you are more likely to get raped in Alaska then in Syria, Germany, or Switzerland. RNN
Sweden, as the story goes, used to be very peaceful, very safe, comely and blonde. Then it started letting in darker-skinned people and soon started the news reports of attacks on Swedes. And now, Sweden records the highest incidences of rape in the world. The most frequently cited source when comparing Swedish rape statistics internationally is the regularly published report by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), based on official statistics provided by each member state. In 2012, Sweden had 66 cases of reported rapes per 100,000 population, according to the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention. This was unequivocally the largest number reported to the UNODC in 2012. The last time the report was issued. However, widely differing legal systems, offence definitions, terminologies, recording practices and statistical conventions makes any cross-national comparison on rape statistics difficult which is why the UNODC itself caution against using their figures.

The legal definition of rape in Sweden is described in chapter 6 in the Swedish Penal Code. Historically, rape has been defined as forced sexual intercourse initiated against a woman or man by one or several people, without her/his consent. In recent years, several revisions to the definition of rape have been made in Swedish law, to now not only include intercourse, but comparable sexual acts initiated against someone passive—incapable of giving consent—because they are in a vulnerable situation, such as a state of fear or unconsciousness.[source]

In 2014, there were 6,700 rapes reported to the Swedish police—or 69 cases per 100,000 population—according to the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention, which is an 11% increase from the previous year. When Sweden reformed its sex crime legislation and made the legal definition of rape much wider in 2005 the number of documented rapes increased drastically, however the number of convictions has remained relatively unchanged since 2005, with approximately 190 convictions on average each year. Obviously there have been several international comparisons made, placing Sweden at the top end of the number of reported rapes.

Yet not one of those comparisons ever reported that rape is more common in state of Alaska, according to 2012 FBI crime estimates. The per capita rate is about three times the national average. In America’s “Last Frontier” state, nearly 80 incidences of rape are reported per 100,000 people, the US national rate is about 27 per 100,000. According to the FRA study there’s a stronger correlation between higher levels of gender equality and disclosure of sexual violence, then on of religion. Apparently; Sweden’s rape crisis isn’t what it seems?
The Sweden story has become absolutely viral.

You’ve probably read a version of this in a Facebook post, or heard it in a speech or debate. It is the argument-ender of the intolerant: To make the case against refugees, or immigration, or “Islam,” you recount a couple of stories about refugee-camp horrors, some random anecdotes of sex crimes involving brown people in various countries, and then drop the latest sensationalized Sweden story.

But If you look deep, you’ll find the resurrection of the same tribal appeal to fear dialectic that has been used by the western élite for centuries, the idea that people of certain skin color are natural-born predators who threaten white women. It’s simply a modern version of the lynch-mob mentality that existed against African-Americans in the that happens to appeal to the liberal and tolerant as much as the hateful and intolerant.

And it falls apart as soon as you speak to anyone knowledgeable in Sweden.

“What we’re hearing is a very, very extreme exaggeration based on a few isolated events, and the claim that it’s related to immigration is more or less not true at all,” says Jerzy Sarnecki, a criminologist at Stockholm University who has devoted his career to the study of criminality, ethnicity and age.
Sweden does indeed have far more reported cases of sexual assault than any other country. But it’s not because Swedes – of any color or creed – are criminal. It’s because they’re very ultra-feminist and their laws and statutes show it.

Another undeniable fact; The sex-crime laws introduced by Sweden’s Social Democratic government in 2005 included the world’s most expansive legal definition of rape ever.
Imagine, for example, if your boss rubbed against you in an unwanted way at work once a week for a year. In Canada, this would potentially be a case of sexual assault. In Sweden, it would be tallied as 52 separate cases of rape. If you engaged in a half-dozen sex acts with your spouse, then later she felt she had not given consent, in Sweden that would be classified as six separate cases of rape.

The marked increase in rape cases during the 2000s is almost entirely a reflection of Sweden’s deep public interest in sexual equality and the rights of women, and not of attacks by newcomers.

But aren’t refugees and immigrants responsible for a greater share of Sweden’s sexual assaults?

Yes in a sense. Statistics do show that the foreign-born in Sweden, as in most European countries, do have a higher rate of criminal charges than the native-born, in everything from shoplifting to murder (though not enough to affect the crime rate by more than a tiny margin). The opposite is true in North America, where immigrants have lower-than-average crime rates.

Why the difference? Because people who go to Sweden are poorer, and crime rates are mostly a product not of ethnicity but of class. In a 2013 analysis of 63,000 Swedish residents, Prof. Sarnecki and his colleagues found that 75 per cent of the difference in foreign-born crime is accounted for by income and neighborhood, both indicators of poverty. Among the Swedish-born children of immigrants, the crime rate falls in half (and is almost entirely concentrated in lesser property crimes) and is 100-per-cent attributable to class – they are no more likely to commit crimes, including rape, than ethnic Swedes of the same family income.

What also stands out is that almost all the victims of these crimes – especially sex crimes – are also foreign-born. But for a handful of headline-grabbing atrocities, it isn’t a case of swarthy men preying on white women, but of Sweden’s system turning refugees into victims of crime.

Another fact; The international illegal sex trade is composed mostly of young girls from impoverished non-white nations.

That is the real Swedish crisis. Refugee shelters are terrible, dangerous places, whoever is in them. When such shelters, then known as displaced persons camps, held millions of Europeans in the 1940s and 1950s, histories show they were at risk of heightened occurrences of sexual predation and organized attacks. Because Sweden doesn’t allow refugees to seek work until they know the language, tens of thousands of people are stuck in these awful places, in similar conditions, or in welfare-dependent netherworld. There they become victims of violent crime, victims of economic exclusion and victims of a grotesque, viral story that portrays them as predators, entirely because of their skin color.

It might come as shock to many of you, but male human beings are biologically programmed with an immense desire to procreate in extremely difficult and high stress environments, it’s a biological defense mechanism, wherein your subconscious reptilian mind can and does exert enough influence over people particularly those who lack strong will power to inspire sexual assaults. I am not at all justifying sexual assaults only providing a more in-depth and thoughtful analysis then you’re going to find anywhere else. Given the facts it becomes quite clear that the “Muslim rape invasion” perpetuated by primarily independent neo-conservative right-wing journalist, columnist, and you-tubers, is a xenophobic media myth manufactured to keep their myopic perception alive and motivate their racist echo chamber participants to click on the link of the day.
