Not really news. He is not going to give any undocumented alien a break at this point.
Government should really just get out of this business and should have a predictable, easy way to enter the country and to obtain citizenship. This will benefit the country, rather than continuing to fight over this painful issue.
Trump is a big fan of H1-B visas, and has advocated for more foreign STEM educated workers to stay in USA. The American education system is dangerously underperforming compared to other first world nations. Thankfully USA still has many world class Universities. Those foreign students are learning at these schools and (in alarmingly increasing numbers from a Silicon Valley point of view) bringing thier talents back to thier home countries. Trump is on record clearly trying to entice them to stay.
