What happens to cars involved in a transportation accident

Back on July 10th, dozens of brand-new cars and pickup trucks were destroyed after 33 train cars derailed near Caliente, Nevada.

Lincoln County Sheriff Kerry Lee confirmed the crash just after 9:00 a.m. and said it happened about 30 miles from the Utah-Nevada border.
Lee said the crash was the most spectacular mess he has seen, with mostly new Jeep Rubicons and pickup trucks destroyed in the derailment.

Spectacular, sad, disheartening... mess.

Luckily for the buyers, the train insurance will pay for these vehicles and replacement vehicles will be made. There is a belief that some of the Jeep Gladiators in the wreck were part of the $62k a pop, launch vehicles, which were a limited amount. I'm sure Chrysler Fiat will rebuild the Jeeps for those owners.

Anyway, even with the dents and such, some of those Jeeps are probably not that banged up. What will happen to those Jeeps? I'm sure they were "totaled" by the insurance company, because there is no way a dealer is going to be able to sell a brand new dented vehicle.

What do they do with these?

Even flood damaged cars go up for sale. So, is there some lucky salvage yard in Utah or Nevada that's going to get these new, but wrecked, Jeep Gladiators?
