Ingredients:

• 1 duck of 2 kilos and 1/2
• 6 oranges for juice
• 2 glasses of Cointreau
• 100 grams of sugar
• Margarine
• Salt

preparation:
1.- Clean the duck well, make some cuts in the breast and in the groin. Make a mixture with the margarine and salt and smear the inside of the duck and cuts.

2 .- Peel an orange, removing the skin and the white cover that is below, so that the pulp is in sight. Put the peeled orange in a bowl, pour the Cointreau, and leave it at least for an hour, so that it is well impregnated. After this time put the orange inside the duck and reserve the Cointreau.

3.- Cut another of the sliced oranges, keeping the skin, cut the slices in half and put a half slice in each of the cuts that has been made to the duck.

4.-Place the duck on a baking tray and sprinkle with the juice of the third orange.

5.-Put the source with the duck in the middle of the oven, preheated to 180º, keeping the grill on and leave it for 1 hour, watering it from time to time with the juice and juices that it releases.

6 .- Meanwhile, put in a saucepan sugar and three tablespoons of water and make a syrup, taking care not to caramelize.

7.-After this time, remove from the oven and distribute the fourth orange, cut into thin slices. With a flat kitchen brush, paint all the duck with the syrup bar. Pour the rest of the Cointreau into the tray, put it back in the oven and keep the temperature at 180º for 30 minutes.
