Trump Called Some Migrants Not Different with Animals
US President Donald Trump called a number of illegal migrants crossing the border and entering his country without permission no different from animals.
The comments were made during a discussion of border walls and law enforcement in front of California officials who opposed the state protection legislation in the White House on Wednesday (05/16/2010).
"We have people (migrants) coming to this country or trying to get in. We've stopped a lot of them," Trump said.
Discussions that took place in the White House with law enforcement officials and political leaders revealed about the law passed by California Governor Jerry Brown last year.
The law prohibits citizens from informing US Customs and Immigration of illegal immigrants in state jails.
"You all will not believe how bad these people (migrants) are They are not people, they are animals and we take them out of this country," Trump added.
But Trump's comments were immediately disputed congressman from Colorado, Jared Polis. According to him, the immigrants, whether legal or not permanent man.
"Immigrants are human beings, not animals, not criminals, not drug dealers, not rapists, they are human beings," Jared said.
While the California governor, Jerry Brown called Trump has lied in his comments.
"Trump is lying to immigration, lying about a crime and lying about the law in California."
"Dozens of Republicans who flatter and praise their reckless policies will not change anything We are citizens with the fifth largest economy in the world, we are not impressed," he said.
