Yamaha Movistar Team rider, Valentino Rossi, did not expect to achieve positive results in the German MotoGP 2018, Sunday (16/7/2018) night. Even not only with the results itself but also his team-mates namely Maverick Vinales.

In the race two Movistar Yamaha riders managed to lock the two podiums in the second and third positions. The Doctor nicknamed Rossi managed to win second place followed by Vinales who successfully finished in third place.

Rossi was surprised because the Sachsenring circuit is not exactly a track that matches the YZR-M1. Since 2009, none of the Yamaha riders are able to penetrate the dominance of Honda who always rule the German MotoGP.

"I am happy for myself and my team, because we work non-stop. We did our best to push home this result after three days, "said Rossi, quoting from Speedweek, Monday (16/7/2018).

"It's also satisfying for Yamaha, because we have two motors on the podium at Sachsenring. That's amazing, because it's not the best motor racing arena for me and M1, "added the 39-year-old driver.

In the last season was true Yamaha has tried to break the dominance of Honda. One of them through the satellite team racer in Yamaha Tech 3 namely Jonas Folger. The drivers who did not participate in the MotoGP this season, able to finish in second place.
