WILL COCKROACHES INHERIT THE EARTH? THE TRUTH - Spigot 3/11/19
Mashable asks whether cockroaches will, “inherit the earth” as some suggest.
To be truthful, the answer is no, but of course, we need science to help us digest
The facts which reveal that cockroaches’ existence, depends on living off us.
They follow us humans wherever we go, whether on ships, on planes or a bus.
It stands to reason that without humans, cockroaches will have a hard time
Inheriting earth when they’re basically parasites, living off humankind’s dime.
There’s actually water that moves on the moon, depending on the “time of day.”
“At lunar noon” with the temp at its highest, it moves or “rises” away
Into the atmosphere, that’s very “thin,” then returns when the temperature drops.
They’d thought the drops were “an anomaly,” but now will they try to grow crops?
If we can use the water it’ll save money, as we won’t have to transport it there,
To make fuel and its use in other ways; it’s good the moon has it to share.
If you like Frankenfoods, you may like salmon that’s been genetically modified.
It has genes of other fish to make it grow faster, so it’s really not salmon inside.
It’s also not a natural life form, as they’ve sterilized it so it can’t mate
And made them all female, but a lawsuit may just, add to the time they must wait.
But even without delays from a lawsuit, it’ll still take a year and a half
For the first ones to grow to the weight they’ve assigned; now you may cry or laugh.
There are some real weird people around, but like they say, it takes all kinds,
Though there are some people we wish would, take time closing their blinds.
A cigar that was ”puffed on by Steven Spielberg,” is on E-Bay for 1000 bucks.
The sad thing is, somebody will buy it, and that dear reader, is the crux
Of the matter of weird people buying, weird stuff no sane person would want,
Then actually frame and put it on display, like it’s actually a prize to flaunt.
