Murdering drug dealers killed in 'gunfight' with RAB in Munshiganj

Mokbul (36) was killed in 'gunfight' drug trade with RAB at Lohajangjonj in Munshiganj. Two members of the RAB were injured in the incident. The injured were being treated at Louhajang Upazila Health Complex.

The gunfight took place at Kumarabhog area of ​​Lauhajang upazila around 4am on Friday. At that time, 1 foreign pistol, two rounds of bullets, one magazine, 2 mobile phones and 5 thousand pieces of yaba and 4 thousand 600 rupees were recovered from the spot. Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has claimed that 12 people have died in the name of the deceased Maqbool.

RAB 11, ASP Mohitul Islam of CPC-1, confirmed the incident, according to a secret news that the Kumarabhog Padma Bridge in Lohajang Upazila was selling narcotics in the area, RAB conducted raids around 4pm on Friday. During the campaign, the exchange of RAB's gunmen with drug dealers happened. In this situation 4/5 drug dealers fled and the bullet-hit Maqbool was seen lying on the spot. Later, the duty doctor declared him dead while taking Mekbul to the Upazila Health Complex.
