Bengalis, who are excluded from Assam, can vote

Nominated citizens from the National Citizen Registration (NRC) list in Assam state of India will be able to vote. India's Chief Election Commissioner Om Prakash Rawat said this on Wednesday.

The Chief Election Commissioner said the voter list will be published in January. Therefore, the Election Commission will not be sitting for the final citizen's post. There will be no more restrictions on voting of four million voters in the name.

The journalists, who did not name their names, asked whether they could apply franchise, journalists wanted to know about Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh. In response, the Home Minister said that the Election Commission of India will take a decision on this. In view of this, Chief Election Commissioner Omprakash Rawat said that those who voted earlier will be able to vote in the future. The Election Commission will publish the voter list in January.
