In this video, I report on the latest news of Julian Assange's extradition trial.
Assange, the founder of Wikileaks is facing life in prison for freely sharing information leaked to him exposing corruption in government. Instead of getting an award which he should indeed get, he's facing imminent doom. UN torture experts claim he's been tortured. His partner who was just allowed to bring his children to see him for the first time since February due to the lockdown claims he's frail and pale.
This is the kind of thing that happens to journalists in third world countries. For us to sit here and allow such an outrageous thing to happen is nothing short of atrocious. It's not just a blemish on the crime racket we call government, they have a lot of blemishes. It's a blemish on us for sitting on our hands and watching this happen to someone who's exposing corruption.
You don't see them arresting the people behind the corruption, they're arresting the journalist that exposed the corruption. That really says all you need to know.
In the extradition trial, they're claiming he may harm himself. They're already getting ready for the inevitable here.
If he's extradited to the United States, he either faces life in prison or he gets pardoned. There aren't many options.
