In the case of the device, whose design is said to be inspired by the statue of the Tesla Supercharger charging station installed in Tesla Design Studio, only one single 18650 lithium-ion battery is used. Recall, the same ones are used in battery packs of electric vehicles of the company.
The portable Tesla battery is equipped with two cables: Micro-USB and Lightning. In this case, the Micro-USB cable is removable. Also on the device there is a charge indicator. The dimensions are 108x30.5x23.3 mm.
And despite the clearly overpriced price, the demand for a battery turned out to be so great that the sales of the novelty ended before it had time to start. At the time of writing, all the batteries have already been sold.
