Unemployment has been an issue for Africa and many other developing countries over a long period of time. Politicians use that as a a bait to win votes of young enthusiasts who want to work and earn after school. In fact, life after school is very difficult without jobs to do. One has to fend for himself after school but how will that happen without jobs.
The president of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo has initiated a nationwide mass employment program to recruit over 100,000 unemployed graduates in the country. The programme is in modules where youngsters will be recruited under allocated sectors to build the nation. To that effect, they will all be called National Builders Corps. You can read more here GhanaWeb.
Many people have already started criticizing the programme basing on several topics of arguments. Well, we will see how this initiative will progress. Anyways it is still a good call by the Ghana Government to plan such a programme
