Completely destroyed #Indonesian_submerin_nangala (402)

Last Wednesday, the 21st of April, there was great anxiety in Indonesia. The reason is the loss of the KRI Nangala (402) submarine of the Indonesian Navy with 53 crew. But this time the anxiety turned into a show. Indonesian Navy Chief Yodo Margono himself confirmed the submarine was destroyed. At the same time, it was confirmed that 53 crew members had died.

Air Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto said, "The items recovered from the last position of the submarine are part of the submarine. And these things can't get out of a submarine without a lot of pressure. " Confirming his statement, Naval Chief Yodo Margono said the search team found torpedo straighteners, periscope cleaning grease bottles and pieces of thick cloth inside the submarine. These things are very internal to the submarine. So it is fairly certain that the submarine was completely destroyed. "After receiving this strong evidence, we have moved away from the conclusion that the submarine was lost and that the submarine has been destroyed," Margono said.

According to the Indonesian naval chief, the existence of the submarine has been confirmed at a depth of 650 meters above sea level. But the operating depth of this submarine is only 200-250 meters and the maximum crash depth is 500 meters. Although perfectly fine, the submarine is expected to crash if it descends below 500 meters. It can be assumed that the hull and the main structure of this submarine has broken down and become a mound. Even so, according to the authorities, all the oxygen in the submarine was supposed to run out on Saturday morning. That means all the crew are already dying due to lack of oxygen. However, hearing about the depth of 650 meters, it seems that they have died earlier. Because the submarine was supposed to be completely destroyed before it reached a depth of 650 meters.

The last time such a terrible accident happened was on November 15, 2016. Argentina's ARA San Juan submarine with 44 crew members went missing that day. After two weeks of searching, no trace of him was found. Then, exactly one year and one day after the incident, on November 17, 2016, an American company found the submarine at a depth of 600 meters in the Atlantic Ocean.

We are saddened by this tragic accident in Indonesia. Hopefully their family will be able to overcome this grief. Respect was due to those 53 submarine crew and all the warriors in all parts of the world who are risking their lives for the country.
