What is Dragon Coin and where can you buy it?

Find out how to buy Dragon Coin, the gaming coin poised to shake up gambling in Macau. If you’ve read Dragon Corp.’s white paper, carried out all necessary due diligence, and you’re satisfied that you fully understand the concept and the risks (as with any investment), then and only then are you ready to purchase Dragon Coins!

Cryptocurrency is growing at an exponential rate with a multitude of coins and tokens entering the cryptocurrency market daily. With so many coins promising they can resolve this or improve that, it can be difficult to sift through and differentiate between the good, the bad and the never-should-even exist coins! CoinMarketCap lists over 1500 coins and tokens, but of course, there are many more out there. This includes Dragon Coin DRG, which I believe will be a top coin of 2018 and I predict a price of US $514.73, and is sure to be listed on CoinMarketCap once its ICO has ended.

Dragon Coin immediately piqued my interest when I first discovered it while researching some of the best coins to look out for this year - a big shout out to British tabloid Daily Express for this great find!

Cryptocurrency That Has Bite: Dragon DRG Gaming Coin

While gambling is illegal in China, it’s not in Macau. Macau is a former Portuguese territory which legalized the act in the 1850’s, and today Macau is a special administrative region (SAR) of China, attracting millions of visitors every year, especially Asian gamers from Taiwan, China and Hong Kong. Macau boasts 33 luxury 5 star hotels, and attracts celebrities abound (no wonder it’s known as the “Vegas of China”), and with the continuing development of casino’s, it’s sure to retain its title of world's biggest gaming hub.

There are more than 190 VIP junkets in Macau and according to Reuters , the top 40 junkets account for 80% of the total VIP revenue.

Dragon Corp. is linked to the gaming industry and its main purpose is reducing the fees high stakes players’ pay to participate in VIP junkets in Macau. Junkets are arranged by junket operators and a wealthy player can be invited or asked to join them.

High-net worth gamers will then let the junket operator know the amount of funds they wish to be made available to them (stake money). They are charged a minimum of 5% and up to around 7% in transaction fees to play in junkets, which covers commision and associated credit risks. The junket itself needs substantial stake funds to support a typical high roller who can game with hundreds of thousands, if not millions of Hong Kong dollars. The junket, which can host more than 100 high rollers, also pays around 5% in financial costs to arrange this - the stake transaction cost is actually absorbed by the junket to show good will to the high roller. According to Dragon's white paper one of Macau’s largest junkets can turnover more than US $250 million per day!

Think of the millions of dollars high rollers stake in junket games each and every day, how often they play and then you get an idea of the exorbitant amount of money they cough up in transaction fees.

Now, you have to ask yourself this question: “Why would gamers choose to pay around cent in transaction fees - that’s each way! - when they can pay 1 per cent (0.5 per cent each way)?”

I’m betting high rollers and junket operators will both shun these fees and opt for Dragon Coin - it makes perfect sense!
