There are a lot more superheroes who died in 2018 than you think. Sure, you know about the ones that Thanos snapped away during Avengers: Infinity War - including the surprising deaths of Black Panther, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, and Star Lord, to name a few, but besides that there were a few more that went away - and some might not be coming back at all.

You have to wonder if Gamora or Vision will return for Avengers 4. Gamora met her end prior to the snap - with Thanos sacrificing her in order to get the Soul Stone. Vision also met his end in in relation to an infinity stone - so it stands to reason that those two characters might not make it back. As for everyone else, well, we know that Spider-Man: Far From Home comes out after Endgame, so reasonably we can assume Spidey and the rest of the snapped ones will return.

There have been quite a few more go - and some in humorous ways. Who could forget Deadpool 2 and X-Force (mostly) all meeting their end before they even went on their first mission? Shatterstar, Bedlam (Terry Crews), Zeitgeist, and The Vanisher (Brad Pitt) all died after their airdrop. Even poor Peter died! Thankfully Deadpool saved him later using Cable’s time travel device. Conversely, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-verse also saw a big character die: Peter Parker (Spider-Man) himself died at the hands of The Kingpin - and that set into motion how we ended up seeing Spider-Pig. Kinda.
