There are not boxes, there are houses. Overpopulation in Mexico.

in #news6 years ago

¡Good Morning, Steemians!

Actually, Mexico has 125 million inhabitants, characterized by being younger population and actively active. If we take as reference the 2010 census, increase is same as younger population as older population.

Train station, Ciudad de Mexico.

For that, basic needs as jobs, electricity, home building, health servicies, urbanization -potable water, sewer system, asphalt roads included-, educational servicies with its expansion school construction and teacher training, this are the most important but not the only ones.

This country faces so many problems very serious about real state product of the same poblational phenomenon; likewise, the measures or "solutions" implemented can be questionable and it is against quality of life. The next pictures can talk by themselves.

 Ecatepec, Estado de México

 Ciénaga de Flores, Nuevo León.

With just 50 square meters, we see this structures that if we see it from above, it could be confused with artworks or with an exhibition model. Lacking green areas and small spaces, portray more deeply precariousness, volume of people, and the fleeting solutions to a problem that goes beyond the short term.

In this cases, a picture is worth a thousand words.
