I hope many of you might have heard a rampant untidy nature of Ghanaian environment due to the scattering of refuse damp around our Ghanaian environment caused by the citizenly. This can ascribe to unconcerned attitudes among some Ghanaian people, as such which have become overwhelmed.

The situation has become very alarmed, to the extent that every blessed day we hear or see news reports on such issues. How could an active man defaecate around the river banks or shore whiles he knows well that
he should go to latrine to ease himself. Why should a lady through refuse she has collected from her home. Why should the youth become careless and leave gutters to become chocked. Why should the households heap rubbish they have gathered in their house to invite mosquitos and houseflies to breed there. Some issues are considered to be insane, excuse me to use that language, but we can collective help to tidy off the environment if we really mean it. But, People have tend a blind eyes to those issues and constantly abusing the rules of Sanitation Agencies and Polluters Pay Principles.

This reminds me of the old system that sanitation officers used to visit people in their houses and their communities whether they keep their surroundings clean. In those days, people were complaining bitterly, since they were taxed for causing pollution on their environment. But today, their work have become minimal since we are in the freedom world, democracy is working for everybody, so no one is no more taxed for creating untidy environment.

One should bear in mind that our healthy is very paramount in our community. our health be our priority, since there are some diseases that if we allow them to invade in our system can cause more havoc and millions of currency can be spent to combat it, meanwhile, that money could have been used in certain ventures. The moment we expose the environment to all forms of pollutions, the higher are chances of getting diseases. As health analyst always say: seek to prevent diseases, but don't seek to control them. If we wait for the sewages, refuse and other bad waste products to engulf us, it becomes difficult to control them. We are in Accra, the capital city of Ghana that waste products have choked gutters and gullies making it difficult for water to drain rapidly. This in effects causes flood every year, since certain cannals which could have been distilled for water to pass through them properly, have been choked.

Lets imagine the amount of money Government spend on combating malaria and colera. These are tho two threating diseases associated with untidy environment. And these diseases many people are prone to them. The sadness of the issues the increase of child mortality. Our innocent children are dying because of causing unstable environmental conditions. Together we can tidy up the environment. We individuals can do it, though Government brought a team of workers known as Zoom Lion. Their works are to tidy up our environment, especially our streets, markets and other vantage places, which seems to have negletted by people. This will really help best if we individuals in our various homes colaborate with them. One of the bad mindset of people are that the moment Government introduced those people, any refuse or rubbish they collect from their homes, they throw them into gutters and on street, thinking that the Zoom Lions will come and work.

Let us all help as citizens of Ghana to build a beautiful nation with good health. We can live comfortably and peacefully if we are healthy. Thank you all, your comments are welcomed in other to support build a better nation.
