RE: The 7 Commandments Of Disinformation - How To Create (And Spot) Fake News Stories

in #news5 years ago (edited)

Most information is disinformation with truths scattered in between for general plausibility. The outlandish is often clickbait - especially if it comes from quasi-legacy sources. I think it's more like 20% real 80% fake - and that's on a good day! Ha-ha... Can't recall the house bill that passed a year or two back, but it's now legal for the US to specifically use "propaganda" in its communications. Nothing has changed really - only now they do it under the letter of the law and that's downright scary. Geopolitical propaganda has been fully entrenched and going strong since the first world war for god sakes... It's about time we woke up and smelled the coffee, don't you think? Great post, brother! Oh yeah, I firmly believe "Snopes" is a joke, and Wikipedia has tons of blanks to fill in - and a lot of truth that is simply left out of the entire mix.

History itself is a one sided story told by the victors of war. Who knows what truths lie buried with the dead.

So true, Luz... Indeed... ...Who really knows for sure?
