This currency is Gambling using Cryptocurrency
The Chinese authorities have found and closed the online gambling network of the 2018 World Cup that has collected bets of (10 billion yuan or about USD 1.5 billion), this gamble uses crypto currencies such as ethereum, bitcoin, and litecoins.
The capture of gambling networks in the dark web is part of China's plan to address criminal activity. This is a gambling syndicate involving cryptocurrency.
The gambling platform used runs on unattended sites or termed dark web. Then the Site is not included in the traditional search engine index and only accepts cryptocurrency transactions such as bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin and others.
World Cup gambling does happen in many countries, but China is one of the countries that prohibits such gambling in almost all parts of the country. Most gambling types are banned in China. There are only two types of lottery that are legal gambling in China
And also the police call this gambling network using pyramid schemes which means there are 8000 agents who get a commission by recruiting new gamblers into the network. And so far, they have arrested 540 suspects and frozen CNY 260 million (Rp557 billion) worth of money.
