The problem of domestic gas in the Tachira.

in #news5 years ago

One more day of protests we live in Táchira due to the serious lack of domestic gas supply, the streets have cylinders, which generates the closing of the passage of vehicles throughout the state.

Due to the lack of domestic gas, the people of the community where I live in San Cristóbal, state of Táchira, had to close the Avenida Marginal de Torbes, as a method of protest to demand from the authorities solutions in the service, since they have more than 2 months and nothing that give solution.

The people of Av Marginal have been standing for 3 days at 5 o'clock in the morning to protest peacefully, blocking the road with empty gas cylinders. Putting him in the street, sitting next to him to know that they were not going to steal and pick them up at 7 o'clock in the afternoon, so that the next day he will do the same again because his protest does not take it into account. . . Some of the Protestants in the community, seeing the dirty road, began to clean it, and cut the grass that had grown a lot.

I started to investigate this problem because we already have 3 days and I realized that it was not only in the Marginal, but in all of San Cristóbal.

  • That there had been more than 6 protests with the closure of important roads in the city and other municipalities, by neighbors demanding the supply by the state company Pdvsa Gas.

  • From early morning hours on social networks, users reported locks that forced public transport and private drivers to look for alternate ways to reach their destination.

  • Likewise, through the social network have reported the closure of the entrance to the Industrial Zone of Puente Real, Carabobo Avenue at the height of the war tank, Avenida 19 de Abril, Trunk 01, in the El Ojito sector, Gold Cup, by inhabitants who join the protests of the last days in request of the important domestic service.

  • On the route to the border to Capacho Nuevo, Capacho Viejo and Junín daily collapse automotive traffic by people waiting for the sale of domestic gas.

And in recent months protests for public services have increased. The Venezuelan Observatory of Social Conflictivity documented 2,163 protests in September 2018, an average of 72 daily, the majority to demand better health conditions and also basic water, electricity and gas services.

The Táchira is experiencing an acute gas distribution crisis that has been neglected by the company Pdvsa Gas Comunal for more than 3 months.
