China honours Putin with first ‘friendship medal’
BEIJING: President Xi Jinping gave China’s first friendship medal to Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Friday because the neighbouring giants touted their close ties amid diplomatic and monetary challenges from the us.
Xi located the large golden medal round Putin’s neck on the grandiose splendid corridor of the humans in the front of dignitaries from each international locations.
China’s “highest honour” is bestowed on foreigners who have made “wonderful contributions” to the u . s .’s modernisation power and helped keep international peace, Xi stated.
