A military parade was planned in Washington DC in November, at the request of US President Donald Trump. This parade has been postponed till 2019.

On Thursday, the US Defense Department told the Pentagon to suspend the planned parade. The information was reported in the news agency Reuters reports.

In a statement, Pentagon spokesman Colonel Rob Manning said, "We wanted to make parade on 10 November 2015. But now the Defense Department and the White House have agreed to do the parade in 2019.

Without disclosing the name, a US official said that the exact cause of the parade was postponed, it is not clear. But there was concern about the increase in the cost of parade. And this may be a reason for the suspension of the parade.

A military parade was organized to honor the 100 years of the end of World War I and to the senior members of the US Army. After watching the Bastille Day in France in 2017, President Trump requested them to organize a parade in their home country. Trump gave priority to the issue. But now the parade lasted for at least a year.

It is said as a temporary publication yesterday, that the cost of the parade could be 90 million US dollars. This cost is about 3 times higher than the original calculation.

A US official said, it could cost 92 million dollars for the parade. The Defense Minister has not approved the meaning of the increased expenditure so far.
