Steemians, Watch Jimmy Kimmel Face Off With MAGA Fools, & Embrace DACA Family

There's a myth in American culture where "if all just listened to one another we could hash out our differences and we get along." It's hard to prove a negative, but this is almost certainly not true; it took the bloodiest war in our history to abolish slavery.

Every so often TV journalist will gather a disparate group of individuals to talk about their differing political opinions in a vague effort to find "common ground." It usually ends in a shouting match.

Jimmy Kimmel knows how such panels go. So, instead of producing a typical shouting match, Kimmel put anti-immigration hardliners in front of a Dreamer family to hear first hand what it takes to gain legal status in America. Despite the sober retelling of the family's story, these anti-immigration Americans have no sympathy for the Dreamer family.

It's a bit depressing, but thankfully Kimmel has the balls to tell his panel how heartless and callous they are to their neighbors.
