China Hacked Clinton's E-mail Server, Sources Say

Hillary Clinton's private e-mail server was compromised by operatives in a Chinese-owned company working out of Washington, DC, according to sources at the Daily Caller. These operatives used malware which made a "courtesy copy" of every e-mail that was sent through the server, and sent that copy back to the operatives, as part of an intelligence operation. They were able to read the former Secretary of State's e-mails in real-time.

It had first become public that a "foreign entity, unrelated to Russia," had been responsible for compromising Clinton's e-mail server on July 12th. Rep. Louie Gohmert asked Peter Strzok about the Intelligence Community Inspector General's (ICIG) findings in Strzok's Congressional hearing, but until now no information regarding this "foreign entity" had been made public.

The former intelligence officer with expertise in cybersecurity issues told the Daily Caller that two officials with the ICIG, investigator Frank Rucker and attorney Janette McMillan, met repeatedly with FBI officials to warn them of the Chinese intrusion. One of the officials they had met with was Peter Strzok. Strzok did not act on this information, nor did anyone else. The "anomaly" on Hillary Clinton's e-mail server had been discovered as early as 2015, before renewed investigations into the e-mail server scandal took place.

The intelligence officer declined to tell the Daily Caller the name of the Chinese-owned company. "“We do know the name of the company. There are indications there are other ‘cutouts’ that were involved. I would be in a lot of trouble if I gave you the name,” he told the Daily Caller. The company, however, is not a tech start-up as they present themselves, and has served as a front for Chinese intelligence operations within the United States.
