Three hours of rain in the Khulna knee water

Thirty-three hours of heavy rain in the sea caused knee-water in Khulna city on different roads. Thousands of families in the lower ranks have been under water due to waterlogging. Many of the homes and business enterprises in the rainwater pouring water have suffered huge damage.

Khulna city's Baitipara, Taltala, Shantimham crossroads, Modern fashion corridor, Royal bend, PTI junction, Satarrasta road, Shamsur Rahman Road, Nirola, Bagmara, Mistripara, Shibbari, Ahsan Ahmed Road, Dolakhola, Rupsa Stand Road, South Central Roads The water was swept away. People have become disrupted in these areas.

Chief Meteorologist Amirul Azad of Khulna Regional Meteorological Office said 114 millimeters of rain was recorded in three hours from 9am to 12pm on Monday. Besides, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall today.

Meanwhile, in Rupsa, Batiaghata, Koara and Paikgacha of the district there was heavy rain since Sunday night. Hundreds of enclosures and ponds have been submerged, the embankment has faced threats.

Due to day-to-day weather, people are not getting out of the house without much need. But in the last days of Eid Market, shops of Barabazar and many noble markets are open with the help of rain. But compared to that, buyers did not meet the market. There is no limit to the suffering of floating people.

Meanwhile, Rickshaw, Mahindra and Ezibak drivers have been charged for extending extra fare from the passengers due to water. The load shedding is also underway. Due to rain and water logging, the attendance of students in various educational institutions was less. Those who went to the office-court had to suffer.
