The 13th Dr Who Revealed and its not who everyone thought it would be!
Earlier today the thirteenth doctor was revealed. With Peter Capaldi leaving the show this year it has been interesting to see who people were guessing would be taking over the mantle as the new lead role.
The revelation of the new lead role has fans divided across the globe! The reason? The 13th Doctor is now a female, the first female Doctor in the 50+ years of the shows history.
Jodie Whittaker is to take over the role during the Christmas 2017 special when Peter Capaldi regenerates. She has had previous roles on such hit shows as ITV's Broadchurch and Black Mirror as well as staring in movies such as Attack the Block and St Trinians

Not at all unprecidented. They did have The Master regenerate as a woman. Liked old Missy. I think I'm going to like this new Doctor too!
indeed, i personally think it could be great to see a female doctor and cant understand why all the haters, i guess we will find out how good it is at Christmas ;) Still sad to see Capaldi go though, he was one of my favorite Doctors!
