Regent Rocky Guarantees Suspension of Oil Well Suspects

EAST ACEH - Bupati Aceh Timur h. Hasballah HM.Thaib, SH, submitted a letter of guarantee of suspension of detention to four suspects in the case of explosions and fire of a traditional oil well some time ago.

We have submitted a guarantee of suspension of detention, hopefully the investigator to grant it, said the Regent who is familiarly called Rocky after visiting the Head of Pasir Putih Village, White Sands and two other residents in the cell of East Aceh Police Prison, Wednesday, May 2, 2018.

According to him, the suspension of detention is to remember one of the witnesses who increased his status as a suspect is the Village Head (Kades) Pasir Putih, Ranto Peureulak Subdistrict. So also with the Chairman of the White Sand White, District Ranto Peureulak.

Many problems in the village should be managed by the village head, such as the accountability report of the Gampong Fund Allocation (ADG) and other administrations that should not be represented. So, we put forward a guarantee of suspension of their detention, said Rocky.

Even so, we still expect the support of the family, so it is not hampered legal process conducted investigators, said Rocky.

Previously reported, the explosion and fire of oil wells occurred in the village of Pasir Putih, Ranto Peureulak, East Aceh, Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at around 01:30 WIB.

Data in BPBD Aceh Timur, due to the incident 22 people died 36 critical people and 5 units of houses burnt out and 483 people were forced to evacuate.
