Julian Assange Arrested in London
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was arrested at the Ecuadorean embassy in London on Thursday to face a hacking conspiracy charge in the US.

For the last 7 years, Assange has been staying in the embassy. On Thursday, the government of Ecuador revoked the citizenship they granted him and evicted him from the embassy.
Alleged reasons for the eviction include reasons such as discourtesy and failing to look after his cat.
Assange is charged with conspiring to hack into the Pentagon's computer network in 2010, and had avoided arrest because of Ecuador's diplomacy and the sanctuary granted him.
