Sir Alex Ferguson's Brain Surgery
Manchester United's former coach Sir Alex Ferguson has undergone surgery in his brain. Ferguson is known to have been infected with brain hemorrhage.
In a statement from Manchester United Club, it has been reported that the surgery has been very good and it will take some time to recover. 76-year-old Scottish Ferguson has been the Manchester United club for 26 years. When he was in charge, the club won 38 trophies.
Ferguson is currently undergoing treatment at Salford Royal Hospital. His family has requested privacy.
While being the Manchester United manager, the club won 13 Premier League titles, twice the Champions League, five FA Cups and four League Cup league matches.
He was considered as the most successful coach in Britain's sports.
In 1999, Manchester United won the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League under Ferguson. In that year, he was given knighthood title.
Ferguson and Kathy were married in 1966. At the age of 16, he started playing in Scotland's Club Queens Park.
After that he retired as a player in 1974 after playing in various clubs. After his coaching life began
He was the coach of the Scotland team in the 1986 World Cup in Mexico. Ferguson took charge of the Scotland team after the death of coach John Steyn.
But Scotland's service could not pass the next stage from the group stage.
