The statue of Brother André stolen

The statue of Brother André has been stolen in recent days from Mont Saint Gregoire.

The statue was at the monument of Brother André, at the intersection of the 3rd Rang Nord and the rank of Grand Bois.

Located next to a granite monument, the statue recalls the origins of Brother André and marks the place of his birth. Every year, hundreds of faithful come together in August to commemorate his birth.

The Sûreté du Québec opened an investigation. Anyone with information about this crime is invited to contact the police.
