They love to create conflict. Sex and murder peppered with "Government is Great" in between commercial breaks for prescriptions.
Fucked. Maybe more people will grow a conscience, other than that I can only hope that a revolution does not come.
Did you know that Rothschild heirs were giving speeches at occupy wallstreet, stoking any kind of ambers of indifference and decades of frustration they could?
Question well, that's is my only advice.
They must have found other ways or collected enough data on what to do next, or both. Never trust who lied at the beginning.
My assumption is that they're not going to stop.
The capabilities they have are far beyond what Snowden revealed. Vault 7 unveiled that through airgapping they can hack any computer with just its hard drive LED light.
This is how they can hack cars with onboard computers, through the lights, or any other sensor. The same principle allows them to form DNA such that when it is scanned by a computer, malware is written by the computer itself that infects that computer. Physics makes the rules, not code. Every input is also an output, and vice versa.
Every commercial chipset is backdoored on the factory floor. Mechanisms like the Intel Management Engine bypass the boot process, encryption, and every conceivable user means of protecting their systems to lay bare whatever they do with their hardware. Researchers are busily reverse engineering IME and other such mechanisms now.
This is why Open Source Hardware is necessary to any system with the potential to be secure.
That doesn't mean Snowden didn't provide useful information, and sacrifice his career to do it. For me Snowden merely verified what I already knew, from other sources. For many people he was the vector for learning they were subject to unlawful tyranny and the panopticon.
The nature of the enemies of freedom provides us certainty that every possible means they can use to surveil us they will employ. The NSA has never once told the truth about their surveillance, and they didn't start now by telling us they're not watching anymore. They're creepy stalkers by nature, and the paucity of actionable intelligence forthcoming from phone metadata won't change that.

The US government no longer needs NSA internal surveillence, considering the muck voluntarily update all of their private information daily on social media platforms. Some even record their anti-government, anti-establishment rants on immutable blockchain, to be easily tracked and monitored, without the necessity of a surveillence arm of the government. The NSA discontinuing their program would be an example of responsible governance.
It is difficult to refute your assessment. Nonetheless, I'm pretty sure they're still going to do it, if only for the dick pics.
That's just the quality of people we're dealing with.
Beyond that, there's very valuable business information that isn't so foolishly posted, and that's probably far more diligently sought after than pics of muh dick. If they can't keep their employees and contractors from using spy satellites to check on their philandering spouses, they sure as hell can't keep them from insider trading.
My suspicion is that was what the NSA was for from the get go anyway. Well, that and pics of me naked. I must look glorious spread across 30 screens in some deep bunker, with dozens of awed spies just drooling/seething over my sublime image.
Also, since they're the source of the damn terrorists they use as an excuse to spy on us, they need to keep an eye out for bits of truth coming out that can upset their applecart. I just don't believe they will ever stop using every bit of power they can muster up. They're far more narcissistic and megalomaniacal than I joke about being. That really is the quality of people under discussion.
