Initiated on SPUD day - POWERING UP to reach STEEM goals
Who took part in yesterday’s festivities?
If you don’t know what I’m referring to, I’m talking about SPUD day, or STEEM Power Up Day.
The idea is meant to spread across the chain to as many as possible, power up any STEEM that you may have available, and discontinue any sort of power downs.
The central thought provoking idea is to get as much STEEM off the market and powered up safe and sound in steemians’ wallets.
It happens on the first of EVERY month. I have participated in a few SPUD days now, and it has helped me to further reach my STEEM goals.
With yesterday’s power up, I am now closing in on 9,000 SP, which is that much closer to a serious milestone of 10,000 SP. I transferred some LTC that I had over through blocktrades and powered up 3.32 LTC, which after blocktrades got their cut, amounted to about 1348 STEEM.
BOOM!! 1348 STEEM powered up and I am now using my enhanced voting power to manually curate quality content creators across the platform.
Who else took advantage of SPUD day and these uber cheap STEEM prices ??

Awesome! I have yet to really power up in a while as I cannot stop buying Splinterlands cards as they are paying off. However, I am looking to buying more and getting to my goal this year of 25k pretty quickly.

Thats an impressive power up I am sort of locked out from buying more steem at the moment for various reasons I wish I could at these low prices

Yeah I hear ya, I’m not too into buying much, I’d rather just earn. But these Low prices were seriously just calling my name and I luckily had some LTC to move

I used what little other crypto I had to steem when Coinbase gave me the warning that it was closing me out being in CT
