Shout out to my country Nigeria which recently celebrated the anniversary of her independence.

Growing up in Nigeria was fun, the days of NTA closing by 12a.m after playing the national anthem and reopening by 4pm after playing the national anthem to the days when the channel would be opened all night with wrestle mania/WWE playing, Tom and Jerry, Pinky and the Brain and even A.M express with Sadiq Dabba. It was really fun.

In every Nigerian home, you'd find customized, crested souvenirs from parties, cups, buckets, bowls and even towels😂 we love to party.

We even share salt, needle and thread, matches, toothpick, slippers at parties.

Another fun time is when our relatives from other places call our parents, they'd say "I don't have airtime" and end up talking to the whole family via, give the phone to your sister/brother.

I love Nigeria. Don't give up on the Nigerian dream, the sleeping giant shall awake again.
