Nigeria President Buhari could face impeachment

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mohammadu Buhari could face impeachment as the lower house of parliament summons him to explain the reasons behind the withdrawal of $493m from the National Treasury without due process and approval. The said money is meant for the purchase of fighter jets from the United States for the fight against the Boko Haram terrorist group. He is also facing similar threats from the upper house of the National Assembly the Senate.
