Nigerian Banks Fight Online Wars On Twitter...
In the midst of the problems plaguing the Nigerian youths, we have once again found another source of entertainment, as banks engage in subtle online wars on Twitter.
Sterling Bank drew the first blood by throwing shade at other banks with their advertisement and graphic illustration which depicts other banks falling short in their banking services.
Well, the shade was not missed and Access bank shot their arrors back, by calling them a One-Customer Microfinance Bank.
Union Bank also wished them a safe journey as they sojourn to the moon without a spacesuit.
FirstBank was not left out of the fun. They retaliated by saying Sterling Bank was a child and couldn't see far even if their eyes dangled from the moon.
Of course, Nigerians were not found missing in the online war. Aside from swiftly creating the hastag #BankWars, some also joined in throwing shades at the banks.
A Twitter user mentioned how Sterling bank only gets customers during NYSC, someone also mentioned how the banking hall of GTBank, UBA and UnionBanks are usually overcrowded - like conference halls.
The song 'jailer' by Asa is currently being sang on twitter as we anticipate GTBank's response to the shade.
While GTbank is cooking up their epic reply and we really can't wait to read it, we hope Nigerian youths will put up this same effort in tackling the many problems faced by the country.
