ANTS

Let consider the life of ANTS. The ant literally dies working. Right now let's make this apparent, the Bible doesn't promote a workaholic way of living that endangers your health and causes you to ignore or abandon your family. If at all, your family deserve the best of you; they deserve you first. Too many marriages fall apart when a couple sign up to that ideology and too many children grow up resenting or begrudging the fact that their parent never had time for them. The ant never sees work as menial or below his dignity. When it's moving dirt or carrying bread crumbs, he cheerfully goes along doing his job.
How unlike that are many people today! All work should be can and should be done to the glory of God (1 Cor. 13:31). The sum of this matter is that in all labor, their lies a profit. Therefore, teach your children the old-fashioned way of getting money - working for it and not indulging in crook and diabolic mean of acquiring wealth. As Martin Luther king Jnr has rightly said "Not all men are called to be specialized or professional jobs; even fewer to the heights of genius in the arts and sciences; many are called to be laborers in factories, fields, and streets. But no work is insignificant." What you do, do it well that other people will like to do it and will also bring others and show them how well you do what you do. Live a life of ant and shun any form of indolence.
