Recently Colin Kaepernick went up against women's rights icon, Revolutionary war hero and textile designer Betsy Ross. Nike, a modern American story teller in sports fashion, sided with Colin.
Colin however appears to be at odds with, Fredrick Douglas's own speech that he quotes as the basis for his position.
