In my last post, I proposed funding three local, mid-size organizations of color for a collaborative public history project. Here's some background on them (from GuideStar and the organization sites).

Art Sanctuary

• Annual Budget: ~$400K
• Year Founded: 1999
• Number of Individuals Served: 500+ students, 7500+ general audience members
• Interest Areas: Black art, education

Juntos

• Annual Budget: ~$200K
• Year Founded: 2002
• Number of Individuals Served: 3000+ youth, 50000+ adults
• Interest Areas: Latinx immigration, advocacy

Asian Americans United

• Annual Budget: ~$300K
• Year Founded: 1985
• Number of Individuals Served: 300+ students, 10000+ general audience members
• Interest Areas: Asian American community, leadership
