Rough weather on the west side of Bømlo on a winter day
The waves can go high when there is rough weather in the North Sea. Then the waves can wash over small islets, and the sea is more white than it is blue.
These photos were taken from a small fishing boat (Viknes 770) where I was on board.
The last picture shows the mountain Siggjo with dramatic clouds over it. This picture is taken the same day as the pictures of the waves at sea.
Her var det mye naturkrefter i sving ja! Flotte bilder som alltid. Det ser ganske annerledes ut i Bømlo i forhold til Østlandet hvor det ligger 10cm med snø på bakken nå.

The waves at the sea were like you see on the pictures.
However, our small boat was inside the islet and there the waves were smaller.
The shipper on the boat was experienced, and steered the boat in a safe way.
