Back from the forest!

Hey everyone!

I'm finally back in the concrete jungle after a weekend in nature! It feels good to have a bed and a shower, but the forest did wonders of its own.

With me in there were my buddies @xtetrahedron , @sortna , fresh steemians @worldas.one and @artofflow (check them out!) as well as our non steemian crew members(working on it, I think @xtetrahedron and I convinced a few at least!). With our will to push ourselves to the breaking point we were able to succeed in what at one point seemed fairly impossible.

We lugged half a ton worth of speakers, as well as a setup for a cafe deep in the Norwegian forest, to find the perfect spot.Luckily we are a crew with a fire in our belly, so we got all the way up, even with broken bodies and a limited crew size!

With two days we managed to have a great time, taking a break from the sound during the day to give everyone a moment to rest before the nights of heavy psychedelic music. Our guest seemed very happy from what I heard, and surprisingly we didn't run out of gas a single time during the night!

Our ceremony was kept warm by the fires from the Cloudlight Firetribe, a group of firebenders with my fresh steemian @artofflow as pyromancer supreme! It gives the dancefloor a very special vibe when you have live fire dancing around you :)

We had several great DJs and Producers playing for us, with a 3 hour long experimental psytrance set from Mirror Me(It was out of this world, and time seemed to pass at an intagible level).
@xtetrahedron and @sortna played several sets, both with their own music and DJ sets, showing off some great tunes! On the line up we also had some local DJs serving up some great sets as well as a live set from a Norwegian Psytrance duo.

I played a set at the end of the first night, after two female DJs that both played amazing sets! It's very rare to see female DJs play psytrance in the Norwegian scene, let alone heavy dark psytrance.

Going after them worked very well, as my set was a bit less dark, albeit relatively fast and heavy. I tried to play around with the mood a bit in the set so it worked nicely with the people that were starting to get tired from dancing!

Happy to be back on steemit, time to get back to upvoting, now that my meter is charged up!
