Now Playing: Week 32 (Opeth - Ghost of Perdition)
Today playing on my ipod is Opeth, with the song Ghost of Perdition. Opeth have some of my favorite metal guitar riffs ever, very creative and unique, along with endless creativity. The song itself travel through many different styles.
Artist: Opeth
Album: Ghost Reveries
Year: 2005
Granted you could be scared by the heavy vocals, but this is one of the things i really like about this, the way Mikael Åkerfeldt can go from very dark and dirt vocals, to clean and beautiful melodies mixing it all togheter. This song compile all the greatness of Opeth style, its 10 minutes long but you never get any repetitive and predictive playing. May take a few listen tough to really appreciate it, specially if you are not used to death metal or more heavy styles.
Thanks for entering this week's #nowplaying!
