Now Playing Week 4
Hi guys,
Here's what I'm listening to at the moment - Rise and Shine by the House of Thieves.
Back when I was living in Nottingham and was just starting out with music, these guys happened to run the open mic at a little pub called the Navigation in Shardlow. Back in 2013/2014, this little rundown pub was a hub for the best musical talent in the area.
In fact, on my first ever visit, local band The Struts were playing (before they got famous - now they're touring with the Foo Fighters...) and the legendary Kev Andrews (the guy who discovered James Morrison).
So yeah, I hope you enjoy this track by The House of Thieves as much as I do!

As you imply, this kinda music would be just the thing to listen to while sitting in a comfortable, "rundown pub" while savouring a few pints.
Indeed! There's nothing better than sitting in a sticky rundown dingy pub and watching some proper live music with a pint or two :)
