RE: Time by Juxta & Grand Space Adventure [BK RMX] by Billy Korg

So I shall be reacting to this live as we go and listen to this. One pre-listening pitstop is actually on the cover itself. While I might not care for the little watermark on the lower-left-hand corner of the album, there is something to speak for the album's font and over all design. I do get the general hinting at space or luminated canvarns (more likely the later), yet I wish for a more playful expression of space instead of the drab myriad that we can see outside with all the blurs and some few sharp points. If it was more playful (especially for the title name includingly) and had a clock/sandglass/hourglass constellation, then the space usage would be justified. But my biggest eye-candy concern is actually on the 70s-80s text-style; it ain't even bad and feels creative to be quite honest to return back to such. But it could've been wholly unified if it had the orange banner as well like the mass majority of the text we do see underneath "TIME" as well. In fact, yah should've went the whole nine yards to play on the time and Grand Space Adventure aspects. Stretching time across, with intersections of space intervening here and there; to make things spacy and fun to look at. Remember, in the World of Commodities, people consume what they see.

So let's get listening to this in three... two... one... GO! So the little wavy intro that gets intervened by what I call "Disco Techno" or "vaporwave signals" and I gotta say it's used quite well. Then the little playful drumming that soon gets intervened by the voice (and that intervened by a cutily scary robot ~^^~) is just really playful. On the lyrics issue, really feels and hearkens back to the 70s-80s and the nostalgia of such. Also the shouts to the echoing void with "TIIIIIIIME!" really captures and has fun with this concept. I feel like if there was a nostalgia radio, this would easily be lumped in there despite being created in this year and not back then when everything was fresh (well as fresh as Mortal Combat Movie's own OST including a techno song listing off character names). Really still feel sad the cover art just doesn't have fun with the artistry as it does very much so in the musical department. But hey! Congratulations on the @curie upvote!

So keep on making music and happy steeming!
