STILL-LIFE - Summer

This is my entry for the - STILL-LIFE BODEGON Photography contest sponsored by @ntopaz.

Now it's summer, I decided that the main focus of my still life should be summer.
To create a composition, I used what I saw in my kitchen. I did not have to make a composition, it was already ready. Garlic, dill and tomato lay on the cutting board, soon, they were ready, get into my favorite salad.

It’s hard to imagine a summer salad without these ingredients.

For the ripening of these fruits requires rain and sun, I depicted them, on the right side of the photograph.
Rain is usually accompanied by a thunderstorm.
Summer, this is the time of the year, when you want to enjoy every day. I really want the summer to last a long time. But summer is very transient. The days of the calendar are showered like fallen leaves. Autumn is already visible on the horizon.
A texture that looks like an old tree bark, or crumbling old paint, is depicted on the left side of the photo and shows us that the days of summer are waning.
As I have already said, simple objects, or fruits, which I did not have to look for, deserve to become symbols of summer and decorate this still life.

I made a photo on the camera of my Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone. I installed the Camera MX app.
I edited a photo in the program Photo-Director, which I also installed on my smartphone.
