Colorless creations!
I may not be around much, but I still look at my feed and monitor the steem world!
And what I noticed today is that nTOPAZ is having a black & white photography contest, which is a perfect opportunity to remember some of my bee shots that I have converted into b&w.
You see, during my early photographic years I used to be a big fun of black and white film. I loved the mental exercise to shoot having in mind the absence of color, I loved to develop the rolls myself and finally to print in the darkroom my favorite pictures.
When I started to shoot digital it felt almost like “cheating” to convert a color file into bw and I turned my back to it. But my point of view has changed by now and I am quite proud of my colorless creations.

It is also a different feeling when we see bees as monochromatic rather than color. I imagine how hard it would be to get one shot. The focus is on the head and feet of the bees, so the concentration is the highest. Again, nature once again shows that it is fashionable even in black and white, not in color. Thank you.

Hay fotos que cuando la llevamos a cambiamos a BLANCO Y NEGRO, quedán como más interesantes que en su color original. Y esta es una de esas, quedo especacular. Mas esa cámara tuya tiene un buen ZOOM porque acercarse tanto uno para tomar una foto así es imposible el objetivo se mueve se va. Me ha pasado que si me acerco mucho e van pero al aplicar el zoom si es bueno de largo alcance y a la vez nitido quedan buenas.
