This series is inspired by Greece,presented through a surrealistic dream where the past meets the present events and together are heading towards a utopian or dystopian future.The struggle of common people is reflected on the struggle of the Greater powers/Institutions/Ideologies, as above so below.Beauty and horror walk hand to hand in a world ready for a greater change but hesitant to take the last step. What is the position of the Greek spirit in this world? In what way is changing and how is changed by it? This series gives more questions than answers.

I like your new collage @georgeboya, excuse my ignorance for not knowing about the Greek spirit so I do not know what you mean but I think that in this era we need true heroes and less politicians.
You are very welcome @yanes94 and yes this is exactly the spirit:) I aggree about less politicians but i am afraid of the heroes also, sometimes turn out to be worse than the politicians. Anyways i made this series some years ago when i was more hopeful:)
It seems that hope is lost over the years, is not it? in my country we have 20 years in them and nothing ever changes, everything becomes worse every day and the hope of a changeo every day is lost little by little. :(
In my case, I just want a hero to take us out of this nightmare.
Yes i understand, my country's economy also is destroyed the last 10 years.. we tried to find heroes people that we could change the situation and be our voice but in the end they too did the same things... Who knows what feature will be bring, lets be hopeful. I wish your nightmare will end soon, i know you are very tough.

You are very welcome:) What happened was that politicians mismanaged the country's money and when the economic crisis started at 2008 passed their mistakes and the blame to the people. Now after 10 years we are still paying huge taxes, almost half a milion people moved to other countries, which is a lot of people for a small country. Also we took a lot of the weight of the refuggee crisis, we were threatened and punished by the EU, people commited suicide to get away from debt and a lot of other sad things...
Wow @georgeboya had no idea of the magnitude of the problem in your country, here it is the same, the socialists stole everything and became a multimillionaire and now we Venezuelans have many difficulties because of them and the worst thing is that according to them, they are not the guilty :(
Politics is the worst thing that exists in this world.
But nothing, let's not talk about politics anymore because that gives bad luck. XD

Amazing series, @georgeboya :) They are all very surreal and cool :) The way you communicate what 'Greece' means to you is super interesting... There seems to be meanings under the elements chosen. And the colours. And how they are arranged on the canvases :)
