I’ve decided to post some of my paintings up close and personal. I love macro photography, it gives me some amazing inspiration getting right up into the subject, especially nature.

It is very beautiful Matteo:) I can see so many different hues and this makes it a very delicate image. The Duomo is a very impressive project, i remember some of the previous posts and i cannot wait to see the progress:)

Really nice, Matteo :) I love how you captured FOCUS wonderfully with this piece, the way you kept the focus obscure on the foreground recreate that feeling of a camera eye so perfectly <3 Gorgeous handling of lighting and darkness too, and the colours of the petal absolutely pop OFF the screen <3 Very beautiful work !

Hi Matteo, that is amazing Oil painting. I can understand the beauty of macro photography is impressive, therefore I also become very jealous seeing such details that the camera can capture. But the Oil painting also can reflect such beauty. Beautiful work.
I am waiting for the result of the Duomo Project, it is already looking impressive. I bet you love to spend the time to reach perfection :)
Thanks!!!!!! These smaller paintings seem like a distant memory compared to the size and grandure of my Duomo Painting. I am actually working on three paintings right now, just to alliviate the pressure that I feel from trying to make the Duomo as beautiful as it actually is.
