Bot series: M455-kiru Bot
(1st image) This part is a bust-like shot.
(2nd image) Full body.
(3rd image) That's how it looked on the application it was made in... 3D Coat. Great for sculpting what people in the biz call "hardsurface". I'm not in the biz... yet.
(4th image) A render test of the bust. I noted something there. Something that needed to be changed.
(5th image) It was looking like a super friendly bot. And I had another plan to it. It was supposed to look like something scary and menacing. The name was Mass Kill Bot (M455-kiru bot) after all. So I changed the faceplate to look like in the 1st image. Little more emotionless.
And that's all. I released it under CC-0 on opengameart.org you can find my profile there. Is called zonked.

Looks like the hive queen of the star wars episode I robot army that they had left out. Another amazing piece of art dude, how long did you work on this if I may ask?
I took me like a day. More precisely around 6 7 hours. I could finish this guys quicker, but when doing rendering tests (and in the final parts of sculpting) I waste so much time cause my lap is oldie and can't handle so much processing in a fast manner.
I looked for this hive queen, but can't seem to find it in the web :(

It looks quite ominous, especially the red glow and the hollow chest.
I don't think I wanna play with it XD XD.
Now that I think of it, what inspired me to do this guy was a dream I had of a robot running and jumping over the electric lines of the street. The robot was pretty big like if one of those Olympic athletes that run over obstacles was IT running over the electric lines, at exceptionally speed. I remember in my dream I was riding my bike pretty fast. On those days I watched various videos of Boston dynamics and it's robots. Scary stuff.
Oh yes, those Boston Dynamics' Big Dog is pretty scary in how fast they evolve. In the beginning they look so clumsy but now they can jump and run >_>.
They can now open your doors while you sleep... (;〇_ｏ)
